Privacy Policy

Champions MMA is an organisation that values privacy and is steadfastly devoted to upholding your right to privacy. The General Data Protection Regulations (adopted in April 2017) are followed by our Data Protection Policy.

The General Data Protection Regulations (Article 5) state that data must be processed in accordance with the following principles: 

1. processed fairly and transparently in relation to individuals; 

2. collected for clear, explicit, and legal purposes; and not further processed in a way that is incompatible with those purposes; further processing for public interest archiving, scientific or historical research, or statistical purposes shall not be combined.

3. sufficient, pertinent, and limited to what is required in relation to the purposes for which they are processed; 

4. accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; and 5. every effort must be made to ensure that personal data that is inaccurate, when compared to the purposes for which it is processed, is immediately deleted or rectified.

5. kept in a form that makes it possible to identify data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods insofar as the processing is done solely for public interest archiving, scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes, subject to the implementation of the necessary technical and organisational measures mandated by the GDPR.

6. handled in a way that provides adequate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against unintentional loss, deletion, or damage, using the proper technical or organisational measures.
